Filip Tylš is a psychiatrist and a neuroscientist. For the last 15 years he’s been fascinated by the psychedelic substances, in a National Institute of Mental Health he focuses on its research. Not only he is interested in its common usage, but the neurobiology of altered state of mind as well. He graduated from the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague, and later got his PhD. in neuroscience. He specializes in electroencephalography and is a member of a team trained in Gestalt psychotherapy – a therapy aimed at individual experience of the present moment. Filip takes part in a pilot experiment of “psychedelic sitter”.
In 2015 he, together with his friends, established CZEPS – Czech Psychedelic Society. His dream is to exploit the full potential of psychedelic substances for therapy and self-development.
